Create a new meet in the portal. Create the event program and select the volunteer roles needed.
Position gates at finish line (one per lane). Turn on hub. Start the SpitFast Timing iPad app. The app auto-syncs all meet details from the portal.
Load starting list or assign athletes to lanes in the app by drag and drop or barcode scanner. Start race. Gates capture finish times automatically.
Check times on the iPad screen. Confirm athlete-to-lane results. Easily fix any anomalies on the spot using the app drag and drop edit features.
Tap "Publish" on the iPad. Preliminary results appear on the club website and Club Connect app within seconds.

Yes. The Field Events app runs on iOS and Android tablets. Volunteers enter heights for high jump and distances for long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, and javelin. Simple drag and drop editing features allow adding or removing athletes and editing results while the event is in progress. All results sync to the same web portal as track times. Complete meet results in one place.
The results portal is hosted by SplitFast. Your members can login to your club, or you can import them from a file and send them email invitations to activate their accounts. Once they have accounts they can view results on the portal or via the Club Connect app.
Gates have 70+ hours of battery life on a full charge. That's enough for months of weekly meets without requiring new batteries. The iPad app shows battery levels for each gate, so you'll know if power is running low. The Gates and Timing Hub use 4 x AA batteries, so changing them is simple.
Yes. LiDAR gates have ±0.01s accuracy (measured by a calibrated reference timing instrument). This meets the accuracy requirements for most club and regional meets. For national-level meets requiring certified timing, check with your governing body for specific accreditation requirements.
