Yes. If you want to add split timing later, you can purchase additional gates individually and they'll work with your existing Hub. Many coaches start with the Starter Pack and upgrade to 3-4 gates for acceleration profiling.
LiDAR detection provides consistent, repeatable timing. While we can't claim to match certified photocells used in elite competition, the repeatability (test-retest reliability) is excellent for training decisions.
Yes. The SplitFast Timing App currently runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 14+). Android support is on the roadmap but not available yet.
The Starter Pack works for groups, but athletes need to run one at a time through the gates. If you regularly time multiple athletes simultaneously, consider the Elite Pack (4 gates) or Club Pack (8 gates) for multi-lane timing.
